Beer then liquor makes you sicker?

Is that true? i had two beers, a rum&coke, and a vodka/7up combo thing on saturday and i felt fine (but a bit drunk in the morning) all day.

Scientifically speaking, your stomach doesnt care how the sequence of alcohol is administered. The amount, how much food is in your stomach, how hydrated you are, whether their is carbonation involved, etc, are factors. Sequence is not. Notice I didnt say that the combos dont matter (I cant take gin + whiskey, or gin + beer, the only thing I can take with gin is more gin or Everclear), its just that the order doesnt.

I have no clue since I only drink liquor, but i beleive the saying is

Liquor before beer you're in the clear,
Beer before liquor you've never been sicker

Beer then liquor makes you sicker. But liquor before beer, and everything's clear

These sayings are all bs. Just drink 16 oz of water before going to bed, and you'll be fine. Force it down though.

I used to go beer -> cap'n'coke -> death row -> beer -> boiler maker -> beer -> shot of 151 -> shot of Absolute -> on and on -> 16 oz water

Never had a problem.

I think the idea here is that once intoxication sets in, you're better off with drinking beverages with decreasing amounts of alcohol content as opposed to the reverse, where you're potentially unaware of what you're drinking. Remember, always drink the cheap beer last.

It just depends on you, the individual.. Some people can't handle mixed alcohols..

You'll just have to experiment.. lol

I just drink Gin on the rocks. Nothing else.

It has never made me sick.
