That motor can easily power multiple chutes.
Can that single chute be fully loaded or is it one at a time?

Great job for a summer student.

Thanks ! I was quite pleased with how well it worked.

Yea it's back on my bench for guards and splashproofing.
----
It's waaay faster than the 3 guys we had cracking and dumping.
With 2 guys feeding and 1 guy stomping em flat , it'll be 10x faster.

I'll get another video once we get it going fast.

Does spoiled beer have any downmarket value? There's a lot of alcohol and carbs in there that you'd just throwing away. Get enough of it together (read: multiple small breweries) for economics of scale and sell it to the highest bidder.

Think power generation, ethanol for gasoline blending, etc. Obviously you don't want to reprocess it for human consumption. Think industrial.

OP delivers.

Obvious question is obvious based on the video: how about pointing that thing horizontally and turning it into a beer can cannon.

LOL

Bahaha ! I've had 3 or 4 co-workers ask exactly that.
It's designed as a shredder basically , I've checked how far they fly : 6-8 feet.Sorry .
-----
DrMrLordX :
Yes. There is .
The Alcohol in this beer is fine.It could be distilled.
This is something we are going to look into , but it requires a different gov't / excise license .
As our license sits , we must destroy it.

-------
I've put a thousand beers though the cannibal now .
There is some minor deflection in the pipe that has caused the gear to rub a bit on one side.Easy fix.
I'll be doing some work on it this weekend , Hopefully a new video too.

Yeah destruction is mandatory and commendable. Just seems like something that could be put to use elsewhere.

Burn it basically. Hmm interesting that they'd require you to get an excise license for something like that? The gubment sure is a curious beast.

Only 6-8 feet? Looks like it slams the can into the ground with some serious force.

Haha !!

Only 415 flats to go.I'll pay him 10$ an hour Canadian.
------
Yea , the beercans come out with some force , but they are torn in half , and half full of beer. They basically just spin out and spray beer for 8 feet , then hit the ground.
----
We have to destroy them to get part of our 'excise' back from the gubment.
You are totally right , it's something that should not be wasted.
I am working on it , I think distillation into fuel is an option , but like I said , that's a diff license.

Well you're doing the responsible thing, so that's good. At the very least if someone breaks into your property, now you have a suitable defense mechanism to drive them back. High velocity beer is no joke. Just gotta aim that thing . . .
