Just want to start off by saying stock or overclocked the problem persists. 780ti microstutter is a biotch.
4770k
780ti x2
Win 8.1
The only way that this thing feels smooth is to make sure frame rate is 100% locked at 60 with a frame limiter. Even if I'm at 60 fps with vsync it is terrible. Frame rate must be capped with a limiter. 60 smooth, 59... Not at all.
Single card is great. Heck, 40 fps on a single card is better than 75fps uncapped on dual, lol.
The problem is driver agnostic. I've tried all the current ones.
Like I said, frame capped is great... Until I have a dip below 60.
I've tried different monitors, mice (because sometimes I almost feel like it is mouse related), monitor cables, card placement, bios's, you name it. I would try win 7 but I'm waiting for my new SSD to show up before I do that.
Can anybody share some experiences with me?
I have a lot of coin into this thing and it sucks that by making it less powerful it runs better.

Problem solved. Something is wrong with the old motherboard. I was in Microcenter a couple days ago so I picked up a new Asus Maximus VI Hero. Finally got around to making the swap. Instantly the problem vanished. I didn't even reinstall windows (though I will). I just swapped the board and let windows reconfigure itself. Very painless process.
