If you are not hung up on gold connectors, get the USB 2.0 compliant cables from compgeeks.com for .49 (5-ft) and 1.20 (9.5 ft). Use the 10% off coupon to reduce price to .44 and 1.08 respectively.

just checked compugeeks.com cables - cheap but they want 6 bucks for shipping - so unless you're gonna buy a whole lot of 'em it doesn't work out any cheaper or does it? (did I miss a way to get free shipping?)

I posted the 99 cent usb 2 cable at Micro Center and nobody said anything. A $7.00 cable is posted and people say "whooaaa" Strange bunch of people in here...hehehe. Anyway, Sam's Club has the USB2 cable for $7.00. This is 2 for $7.00

If you live in SoCAL, you can get USB 1.0 (I think you can use it also for 2.0) for $1 at most 99 Cent store.

10' A-B (USB Printer) cable at BGMicro.com for $1.99 and reasonable shipping. Don't know if it's 2.0 compliant or not, but WTH...decent gear for a decent price.
