I have one of these, and I can vouge for it being a good router--I had some problems with it (requiring resets, as someone mentioned above), but I flashed the fw and all my problems went away--hard to beat for the price, and it's xbox compatable.

Just ordered mine Can't complain about freebies! I went ahead and ordered a handheld calculator for free too while I was at it, to get the price over $50 for free shipping. I did end up paying a couple dollars for a pin & some paper clips, but if you REALLY don't want to pay anything just use another free after rebate deal.

I got a box from Staples yesterday via free overnight delivery. Opened it up, dug through several layers of protective padding, and found my $ .27 bag of rubber bands. Simply amazing. Router is still on it's way.

For Staples rebates that go to RebateHQ.com I always send copies of the packing slip and keep the original and have never had a rebate rejected because I send a copy of the receipt, but since Staples stop including the order date on the packing slip I also include a copy of the order status page from Staples.com.

Just to clear up some rebate confusion: I called Staples and they hooked me up with Belkin regarding the rebate (4 port advertised; 3 port on the rebate form).

Anyway, this is YMMV, but I talked to a CS at Belkin, got the name, number and extension and was assured I would get the $40.00 rebate.

Just be sure to cover all the bases and get names and numbers. I think it's just a typo in the Staples ad.

I jumped all over this deal and the router appears to work great, however, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get my Direct Connect to work in active mode with it.... anyone have any suggestions? It's no big deal if this never gets read and nobody else is experiencing this prob, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

got mine today. Have a look of the rebate form, it doesn't even ask for UPC code. All the proof of purchase needed is your staple receipt!
I have a Belkin wireless router coming. Now I will just see if I can get a Wireless PCI card deal to go with it. If the wireless networking doesn't work, I can still use this wired router. Where can I get long ethenet cable then? I need about 50 feet.

Be smart, and send in the UPC anyway. This has come up in other recent Staples deal threads. I think Staples forgot to add the UPC requirement to some online forms. The mail-in form for this rebate asks for the UPC code:

To Receive Rebate:
1. Print and Fill Out Form
2. Include UPC and Sales Receipts in an envelope
3. Mail to: ( Dept. 03-57450 ), P.O. Box 028513, Miami FL 33102-8513
