Everyone seems to have a lot of network questions. Here's some answers:
1) The router has a built in switch, not a hub. A switch is better than a hub because each port of a switch has it's own dedicated bandwidth. A hub shares it's bandwidth among all the PC's plugged into it, meaning slower network performance.
2) To use the router as a switch, just turn off DHCP on the router and give it an unused IP address (preferably in the same subnet as your network so you can still access it if need be).
3) You can not use the USB connection on your DSL/cable modem if you're going to plug it into the router. The modem has to go into the WAN port on the router.
4) Sharing a printer should be as simple as right clicking on the printer on your PC in the Printers folder, select Sharing, and enable sharing. You then should be able to browse to the printer in Network Neighborhood (or My Network Places), and you can set it up by double clicking on it. Keep in mind that if you have different versions of Windows, you may need to have the appropriate drivers for the printer installed before connecting to the printer (if you have identical versions of WIndows installed, the drivers will install automatically when the printer is connected to). If you can share a folder, you can share a printer.
