Belkin 4 Port USB 2.0 internal 3.5" bay hub for $8.04 at OD B&M

Was in Office Depot tonight and saw the guy put a clearance tag on the Belkin 4 port USB 2.0 internal hub that fits in a 3.5" bay for $8.04. Great deal if you need one, but I already have a kanguru one. The one I saw was black. Don't know if some stores have basic pc beige color.

Anybody know how it connects to the computer itself? Does it just use one of the existing ports and take it from there?

I haven't used one before and can't find a downloadable instruction sheet on their site.

I didn't look in the box, but on the picture on the box it looks like it might be similar to the kanguru. It looks like it has a 2.0 A/B cable that connects thru the inside of your comp, that you run out the back and connect onto a rear mounted USB port. The kanguru hub I bought had the same setup. I went and cut the cable up and modified it to connect to the internal USB front headers on my motherboard, similar to Antec's easyusb cable. Looks a lot nicer and uses those internal headers that are just sitting there.

Still seeing these in relatively large quantities in OD stores. It's generally price $35 to $45 everywhere else. Good deal at $8.04.

I've been eyeing them up on Ebay after seeing them at my local OM ... OD is a one hour haul for me, but without an SKU I can't call to confirm in-stockedness.

I wondered how this thing plugged into the board, but if its moddable, as Bozo did, I would be even more interested.
