Found a coupon on a site that has "news about deals" for $20 off $75 at Office Depot (you may know of others as well).

Clicked through it to the Office Depot site - found their Belkin 800VA battery backup for $99 after "instant savings": Battery Backup

During checkout, the coupon applies for $20 off brining it to $79 (plus tax of ~5, but free shipping).

Last but not least, there's a rebate in effect for $20 off, bringing it to $65 in the end: Rebate

This was mostly in the paper this weekend, but I got it for $20 less Lowest price I've seen anywhere on the 'net is about $100, plus shipping on that heavy sucker. Finally, I can connect my computer to a power source that won't fluctuate (and restart my computer) when I turn on my stereo receiver here!

Anyone have any expereince with the Belkin UPS line?

Also, how important is it to purchase a model with a replaceable battery. I know the one in this thread does not have that, but I am still thinking about getting it.

replacable battery is pretty importaint if you plan to use this for more than 3 years or so.. in my experience rechargable batteries crap out after a while, slowly, and they run for less and less time until they only work for a few minutes

Alright here is another way to go about this deal:

Staples has the drive for $119, so call them 800 # and pricematch to OD, since staples has there own coupons they won't PM that but since they are not running the $20 rebate they will PM that part.
So they take off 119-79 = 40 * 110% = $44 off so they drive sells for $75.99
(ok i missed some cents somewhere but that is the price or close to it)

then add 100 pack of maxell cd-r 650 item # 489759 they are $27.94 with a $20 mail in rebate

then use magic $30 off $100 coupon code, (this is why we need the cd-rs)

and we get $79.11 out the door/phone (including tax) with a $20 mail in rebate

so ~$60 for UPS and cds
