You aren't limited to any amount of hardware changes, but if you change a certain amount of items, Windows will think you are putting it on a totally different computer and you might have to call Microsoft to get reactivated. This stuff has been gone over so many times it isn't even funny. Nobody likes it, but it isn't too bad as I have made many hardware changes without requiring activation. I just wanted to point out that changing NIC cards is the most dramatic change you can make and if you swap lots of hardware, it will put you closer to having to reactivate.

Damn, still waiting for my 30. ETA to be shipped is next week. What to do with 30 u ask? Replace all the 10mbps NICs here at work because I am upgrading the 10mbps hubs to 10/100 switches.
It's funny,I ordered a 2,000 dell server at the same time as the NICs, they told me the server was 20 days backordered, then it showed up a week later out of no where. Still no NICs tho.

Most CC companies and banks drop pending authorizations 30 days after the initial authorization. This does not signify that Dell is cancelling your order. We have received sereval delayed Dell orders after this has happened to us. Dell simply re-authorizes the charge when the items are available.
