Good luck with this, I've got a Belkin OmniCube with those cables at work. The belkin only does 1600x1200@65Hz (which means I can't use it at 1600x1200 without hurting my eyes, YMMV). When we had that set of cables (I think), there was a bit of ghosting at 1024x768 (yuck). This is a reasonably good switch if you're running at lower resolutions or if you want to buy a better monitor cable.
If you go with cables from some other place, a staples PM on the switch itself might result in a better deal.
For homw use, I bought the IOGear KVM from pcmall for $138, it supposedly supports 1920x1440. It comes boxed with four cables, and I've seen no ghosting with them at 1600x1200@99Hz.
