I find I don't enjoy Belvedere that much.

I used to drink it exclusively and wouldn't even give GG a chance. Then I tried GG a bit, and others like Chopin, and found GG to taste better to me.

Then I tried Ketel One, which tasted exactly like GG.

Then Stoli came in FTW.

Ketel One -favorite for the best overall vodka
Stoli -for when I want something with Bite
Pearl -for when I want something smooth and a little sweet (smoothest vodka i've had)
Finlandia -for when I want something cheap (this is as cheap as I'll go, not too bad for the price, but no where near as good as the above three)

my friend and I drink out vodka neat as our normal drink and have done some blind tastings. results:

Belvedere - very nice. sweeter than most, smooth. I prefer it chilled, but not freezer cold.
Finlandia - garbage. tastes like burning
Stoli - was once my standard, but not as smooth as some of the ones I choose to drink today.
Luksosawa - Polish and potato based. Quite smooth. fairly clean. A very good inexpensive choice that became my standard after stoli.
Grey Goose - Didn't really get the big fuss. Not really much smoother or better than some of the upper tier vodkas at half the price.
Smirnoff - A surprise. Tasted it blind and it came out on top compared to stoli, and luksosawa. Now my default brand for it's tremendous value and smoothness and clean taste.
Ketel One - nice, but not mind blowing. was a nice alternative before re-discovering smirnoff.
Three olive - fairly smooth. again, was a nice alternative before smirnoff. better than most cheap brands but not quite belvedere good.

Mezzaluna for me, with Cristall a close second. It's all relative, though. I won't touch Tito's.

I don't think you have any idea what you are talking about.

They don't "use" grain neutral spirits...that's what they ARE!

Grain neutral spirits means it's didtilled from grain

Most Vodkas are.

Vodka snobs, I'd be willing to bet you could not tell any of your overpriced "yuppie" vodka in a blind test vs this...

Kirkland vodka is 13 bucks for 1.75L. Vodka is vodka to me as long as you avoid the nasty flavored stuff and gordons.

Why are we comparing two shitty brands of vodka?

Grey Goose is OK but Belvedere is from Poland, the inventors of wódka, which make it more prestigous. Also, I think it is smoother.

I don't like vodka, but that 360 bottle's pretty sweet. Maybe I'll give it a shot, and see if I like vodka better than I used to. At least I'd get a nice bottle out of it.

Grey Goose is a prestige liquor. It really isn't all that better than any top shelf vodka. Give me Stoli over GG any day.

I can tell a huge difference over the cheaper vodkas when I drink grey goose. It doesn't burn going down.
