Now when I think of a great surgeon I always think "Someone who tries to kill people, extra points for attempting to kill your friend."

That happened during a time of being a troubled youth, during his formative years. That's not the kind of person he grew up to be, or is. He grew up with nothing, living a hard life. I'd say his contributions have more than redeemed him from a stupid mistake he made as a kid.

That dude is a left wing, socialist, extremist and I don't believe he's been head of HUD, at least not that I could find. If he was, I can understand failure. Everything left wingers touch, especially where minorities are concerned, result in abject poverty. I repeat, where you find democrats in charge of minority constituencies, you find poverty, not to mention heaps of corruption. Those people are the easiest prey.
