But isn't it amusing that Obama apologists just can't help themselves? It would be funny, if it wasn't so pathetic.
To clarify the difference here again, Obama CLEARLY simply misspoke and said 57 when meant to say 47. The statement would have been completely accurate with the 47 statement with the time and specific context he made it.
The issue here is not simply some graphic artist drew this, but after doing so the individual failed to look at it and notice something was wrong before they posted it. (For that matter they should have googled for a US map image and compared it as a form of double checking before considering the image completely done.)
Now the key related issue is the Carson campaign should have had at least one other person check the map before it actually got posted. They either failed to do this or neither person noticed that something seemed wrong with the map and took a more careful look.
This means that on top of simply being a funny mistake, the incident brings up legitimate questions about the competence of Carson's campaign staff and procedures. This could in fact raise legitimate questions if similar issues would apply to a Carson Presidency with the people he would have work for him, especially given Carson doesn't have a prior record of being in charge of a significant organization we could examine to get more information on this issue.
