how can you say "dont say his team carries him" and "champinship in his 3rd year"
how can you give him the credit for a championship. here are some points to think about...
their O line was Fing amazing. He had forever to throw the ball
Hines ward and randel el. when you have 2 people that can get open and get yards after the catch like them then you better complete some passes.
the running game with bettis was insane. anytime they needed short yard conversions (except the playoff game where they almost lost because of his fumble) they gave the ball to bettis and he almost garenteed it.
their defence was pretty damn good with palamalu (sp? cant we just call him bob?). this gave the offence alot mroe time on the field and alot more chances to take forever and throw a pass to a nice wide open reciever.
his team did carry him. He is overrated. Some times you jsut have to accept that.
he isnt a "bad" QB but he is nowhere near what people make him out to be.

he was never asked to do anymore because of that. now he is being asked to step up to a bigger role, and he is adjusting. give him some time. i believe he will be playing a lot better shortly.

He had a QB rating in the 30's during Superbowl XL. He's proven time and time again that when the game is put onto his shoulders, he crumbles. Why do people hype this guy up?

Roethlisberger is still messed up I think. He had a bad off-season in multiple ways. He was running a fever of 105 degrees his first game back. He shouldn't of even been in there IMHO. I get loopy at 102 degrees...At 105 degrees I don't want any one speaking near me much less trying to bury my upper body in the ground
Still, this is only his third year in the league. I don't think he'll be a huge fantasy numbers type of QB but he'll be solid as long as he has a good ground game behind him. However, he has many more offseasons like this last one and he'll be lucky to be eligible for the NFL pension plan.
