3930k @ 4.2Ghz in rig 2 below.

[06:01:34] work: average encoding speed for job is 412.201996 fps

Your FPS seems high compared to the other 3930K's,

Did you forget to select Android Preset?

Ha, I did that a few times during testing, and was wishing for a way to make Android the default.

In Windows GUI version can't you just do...

Menu > Presets > Presets > Andriod
Menu > Presets > Set Current As Default

It's interesting to note, however, how Handbrake has improved since the origin of this thread, my score went up from ~69 to ~75 fps. Good progress indeed.

huh, ya, wasn't expecting much gain if any from my last nightly run, gained another 4.45%...

Ya it totally is.

It has me questioning my results lol.

I ran it again just to be sure and almost 60fps more with the newer nightly

work: average encoding speed for job is 391.705200 fps

I'm going to run it 3 times to produce and average.

I will run a test with the standard build later to see where that version stands.

Not sure why Nightly builds are included in here. It's impossible to compare scores.

Agreed but it got messed up awhile go.

People started posting with nightly and not standard builds many pages back.

I do like that edgemeal added a build column to the charts but I suppose a clean up is due.

Should have made a rule to post the entire output within code tags. It would show everything. That's what I would have done.

I only added a build ver column to that 4200MHz chart since it was only 12 scores and I was curious. I never kept track of the build data for all the posted scores (over 80), and some didn't even say what build they used, so overall the scores are a mess.
