If you do what was mentioned here : "Go to Options > Advanced, tick "Put a copy of individual encode logs in the same location as the encoded video". Upon finishing, check the log file."

You should have a log file that will give you the exact info.

Well thank you and yes I followed the instructions. Upon viewing the log file I was confronted with a massive wall of text which I combed through several times and nothing shows average fps anywhere like others have posted.

GOT IT. It was buried in the middle. Good god.

If only text viewers had a way to search or find text, oh wait...

Thanks for the enlightening info.
3930k @ 4.3
16gb DDR3 @ 1600

Well now I don't feel so bad about losing by 31 fps...

I don't think I can match it, at least not without delidding and/or hooking it up to water.

Edit: I can finish @ 5.2GHz (I could try higher, but I have a $50 air cooler and temps are quite high for the voltage I'd need to push through it), but I need to drop my ram.. Haswell sadwell

Even 4.9 won't post past 2000MHz, anything after that it's 1600 or it won't post.

Without cpuz and realtemp this will score between 299 and 302 FPS (Nightly).

It's kind of sad I get cut off at 4.8GHz 1.25v before I have to sacrifice other aspects of performance. I see other people running these chips upwards of 1.35 even 1.4v or higher with proper cooling. I don't think it would even matter if I delidded or used water, I think this is the optimal settings for the chip, or basically the fat lady has sung.

For the same clock speed there's a 70fps increase from Sandy to Haswell. And at much lower voltage as well. HASWELL IS TEH SUXZ0RZ!!!

quite impressive difference indeed, Haswell I7 shouldn't have much trouble competing with 6 core sandy-e on this benchmark.

Software should be more mature in a few years, gives you something to look forward to with Haswell-e at least

For SCIENCE!

i7 4770K @ 4.5Ghz 1.27v
4x4GB RAM @ 2133Mhz
[15:04:12] work: average encoding speed for job is 301.439270 fps

I wonder if I can get that a little bit higher with a fresh boot...
