BTW, that's a great benchmark.

It won't run under XP 64 bit either. I can't run it.

For me on 8.1 it wouldn't open a browser, I only figured out my results because they were the fastest on the list and they matched the wrong info it was giving me for hardware :wub:

When I try tp run it (or setup, whatever it is) it says must be run on win 7 or newer.

that 2.6GHz Ivy Bridge is probably working at 3.6 for the single thread tests?

also 2500K = SB at 3.7GHz, 4770K = Haswell at 3.9GHz? looks acceptable, considering single vs dual channel is going to have some impact with this, I think

as for the FX, even at 5GHz it can be slower than low clocked SB for some ST stuff,

I am not if sure if you are either questioning the validity of my results, or the validity of the FX8350 results, care to elaborate so that I can post a screen shot if it was the prior?

The MT score is barely 20% better.

Yes but he has MT scores within 5% of a 3.9ghz 2700K ,
still thanks to the turbo..??.

yes well, you can't ignore the different OS, as for turbo, I'm not sure, but I would guess it would be running at a higher clock than 2.6GHz for most of the test.

Checking CPU-Z ( I don't know how reliable that is ) the cores were running at 3392.xxMHz for the test.

Within Windows 7.

Stock 1600MHz, they're DDR3L, don't fancy messing around with the frequency or timings on the laptop.

I wouldn't worry about it, I don't see anything wrong with your results.

Just looks like you have a cpu capable of boosting well for the duration of the test with an IPC advantage over the older higher clocked processor.
