I will try them on Friday when I get back to my system. AHH I hate VA nothing here, and I have to use a 300MHz P2 With 32MB RAM. Talk about slow, maybe I am just spoiled. Well, gotta run. When I get back to GA I am going to try EVERY Memory timing I can, at all FSB settings over 166 to 185. We shall see how it goes. Later all.

I thought you guys might be interested to see what the Hardware Prefetch feature of the new Athlon 4 can do with DDR. I am running a 1.2ghz Athlon 4 @ 1.46ghz, 154FSB, with settings of 8-8-6-2-2-2-2 with 1 256mb Crucial. I get a score of 863/960 with the newest version of Sandra. It seems the new feature of the Athlon 4 really utilizes the DDR bandwith better...

I believe he is using SoftFSB, but the new beta bios, 1607, goes up to 250mhz...

Not bad scores for the MP CPU. I will wait till 1.5GHz comes out then pick me up one. I think I will stick with this Motherboard for awhile to come. Getting very random errors on system at 181 so I clocked it down to 177MHz FSB. Mem is going at 8-8-8-2-5-2-3 right now. 1,504Mhz and 810/1009. This BIOS version 1607 doesn't do well on the ALU/RAM performance. Really the only scores to watch on the mem test is the scaling section of the tests. The other parts are mostly relient on CPU and FSB, where as scaling is more sensitive to memory timings. My scaling scores are 710/790. Also, all my benchmarks are run under windows millenium with all my normal start up programs on, MSN messenger, ICQ, and a audioHQ for SB Live!. None of that safe mode garbage.
