Are there any extended benefits of using a domain controller in a small office (14-20 users) over setting it up as a workgroup?
We currently have a windows 2K server (small business server) set up as a domain controller but all the pc's are set up in a workgroup type environment; thy do not logon to the domain. We don't have a domain name, do not run any internal internet services, no mail server, and none of the users are allowed internet access.
What are the pro's and con's of using a domain controller?
