To the best of my knowledge this problem just started happeneing after I flashed it to the latest firmware and unfortunately when I try to flash it to an older firmware version it just says "flash failed".
1 out of 3 times (usualy) after or during the windows XP startup screen I get a quick blue screen and then the computer reboots. It then says after the bios and everything that windows did not start probperly and gives me options for how I would like to boot. I always boot normally and after that I have a 1 in 2 chance of getting that blue screen and rebooting. I have been able to do some troubleshooting:
-If I unplug the DVD-RW drive I never get the blue screen
-I have put the drive in my other computer and the blue screen does not happen so it looks like it is some sort of my computer sepcific problem
-I have tried using other IDE cables to no avail
-I have tried setting the drives to cable select and then switching them around from master/slave again to no avail
-I have tried only the BenQ in which still resulted in the same problem
I have:
Enermax 431w Whisper PSU
Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 w/ DualDDR400, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit Lan, SATA RAID
