Anyone know?

EDIT*
Ok, I'm adding a poll this should make things easier
I don't mind Noise too much, as long as it dosen't sound like my old socket 478 Thermaltake spark7+.
Don't think i'll have that problem with 120mm but I could be wrong, please poll what you think is best.

BTW, this is for a Thermalright XP-120 Heatsink.

Quietest at 12V? the Nexus Real Silent case fan. They operate at 1000rpm 37CFM 23 db and cost half an arm

Keep in mind, you can't always trust what you see on the package or on websites. Most isn't accurate.

I love my 130cfm Delta's. They are loud, but it isn't an annoying sound. It is low pitched so it doesn't bother me as much as the smaller fans that sound like hair dryers. (I have one of those as well)

Get a rheobus. Much of the time the fans don't have to be on high to still be very effective.

And they're freaking sexy orange. Although they have closed corners which means you need to mod them if you want to use it with an Xp-120.

Let me know if you want me to add another fan to the poll, I'm just going to order mine tomorrow.
Really appreciate the help, This topic should help many in the future when choosing a 120mm fan.

Globe 120mm from mnpctech.com

Evercool Aluminum 120mm fan @ 4V is decently quiet for good airflow.

I prefer a thermal-controlled model. Some will slow down to 1000rpm at an idle, and speed up to 3000rpms at 100%cpu usage. This insures maximum silence most of the time, and sufficient cooling only when needed.

I'm using a PowerLogic model from CompUSA....about $15.

Ok so far:
Best cooling: Delta
Most Silent: Panaflo / Nexus
Overall: Panaflo

I found a review which pcper had that compared both Panaflo and Delta.
Delta 12v - 35c - 59.6 DBA
Panaflo 12v - 37c - 37.6 DBA
Panaflo 7v - 38c - <35 DBA

Review can be found here link

Do panaflow's have a rpm wire?
From what I have read they don't have the hard connection to monitor speed?
This has been the only thing keeping me from ordering one of them, unless I am wrong.

From the reviews I have read, Panaflo is a decent fan.
Sanyo Denki's are suppose to be a nice fan as well.

No one has mentioned them so far, but I always use Antec fans. $13 at Monarch computers. 79 CFM 29.8 dBA

Don't use mfg claims about dBA to judge anything.....first there's no standard testing procedure. When somebody claims 30dBA@75CFM.......they may be measuring the fan noise from across the street! Almost all dBA claims are worthless.

I doubt if any 120mm fan pushing 75CFM, will be much lower than 45dBA at 3 feet......the distance most of us sit away from our computers.

I have personally used these fans (the 80mm version mostly, but a few 120MM), and they are relatively quiet. I use them beccause they are a good balance of air flow and noise. I don't know if the 30dBA is accurate or not, I just go by my ears.

I haven't used any 120mm Y.S. Tech fans but the 80mm I used were very impressive. They had an incredibly smooth range 800-3000RPM's, extremely fans for any given speed.
