DVI allows you to adjust the colors using software so that they are appear better than what analog allows. Also, to quote ehZn from hardforums:
DVI >>>> vga, without question. I've compared them side by side and the difference is striking. After DVI, vga seems blurry and dull.
Also, Garage81 said, "if youre going to pay the premium for an LCD over a CRT, pay a little more and get DVI. It's very noticeable, and youll be glad you did."
I actually do not own a DVI monitor yet, but I trust these guys on that.
