Best 19" Black Monitor?

Hi,
I'm looking to buy a 19" monitor that is black (to go with my case, speakers, etc...). I wanted to buy the NEC FE950+, which I have heard is really good, but it has suddenly become unavailable and, according to CDW, has been replaced by the NEC FE991SB. I haven't heard a thing about this monitor. So, what is the best black 19" monitor? I'm looking to spend a max of $400, preferably around $300.

All I know is that they use different tubes. The 991 uses superbright diamondtron, while the 950+ uses diamondtron NF. This all makes little sense to me. Other than that, the monitor specs are practically identical.

Anyone have an idea of what's going on here?

I've actually used the P991 - it's a nice monitor. But the NEC seems to be cheaper, a bit smaller, and supports higher resolutions. So I would prefer to go with the NEC (or another small monitor) if possible.

I have a really nice black 19 inch here... It is a ViewSonic Graphics Series G90fb with a flat picture tube. Costs $300 at CDW.
