Best 19" CRT bang for your buck?

Any input, i have roughly a 200 hundred dollar budget( which includes shipping costs ) to get a nice 19" CRT.

Yeah i agree that Viewsonic makes really great value monitors. If money isn't that much of a thing, then I'd go with Sony

Dell has free shipping, and if you can wait a week or two, they will probably have another 10-20% sale on monitors again. They carry several brands, so you oughta check them out.

Dell has some pretty good monitors. The actual dell branded monitors are usually just OEM versions of other monitors, sometimes with slightly different (cheaper) internal components. I am using a Dell 19" P991 monitor. It is almost an exact copy of the Sony G450 with the same flat trinitron tube, just with slightly cheaper components as I said earlier. I bought it for $350 almost 2 years ago when any quality 19" trinitron monitor was $400 - $500 and I couldn't be happier. Awesome picture, flat screen, and I am not bugged by the damper wires.

What about Iiyama? Although, the spec has changed quite a bit from when I got my VM Pro 450 19. They are alot cheaper now.

Definetly go for the Viewsonic!! I have a Viewsonic g90f! This is the 19" Flat CRT! VERY NICE Monitor! You can get them for about $227 at Newegg. A little more than just $200 even, but WORTH EVERY Penny!! Tom's Hardware has good reviews on them. Very nice monitors!

Samsung 955DF is another good alternative, I like it better than my previous 19" Viewsonic's.

Still running a G773 17" viewsonic that I bought in 1997, I really think the quality is not as good as what they used to make.
