I've got 2 new 2408WFP's on my desk right now. The one i received first has a bright pixel and the left side is considerably brighter than than the right. The "replacement" has no stuck pixels but the uniformity issue remains. (it even seems a little worse.)
The brightness issue is most noticeable in grays and whites, so it's quite in your face during coding and browsing unfortunately. Looking at, say, a google search result, the white background looks like a gradient.
So, should I just stick with the Dell and deal with it? After spending almost $600 on a monitor i did not expect to have an issue that was so noticeable to the naked, untrained, eye.
If I get on the phone with dell and demand a refund, what monitors should I look at from here?
My uses, respectively:
Gaming (not too much FPS)
