Hey guys,
So here's the thing. I'm currently using a 42-inch Panasonic Viera Plasma (TC-P42U2) for about the past 5-6 years or so.
It has been wonderful, and the picture has been terrific.
I plan on keeping it, but am thinking about relegating it to the spare room, and upgrading to something a bit bigger for our living room.
I'd like to go for something in the 55"-60" range. Obviously, a little bigger is fine (65"), but I don't want to sacrifice on picture quality just to get a bigger screen.
As this is obviously a decent investment and something I'd be looking at for the next several years, I'm trying to do a fair amount of research before pulling the trigger.
Locally, I have Best Buy, Target, Micro Center, Meijer, Wal-Mart, HHGregg and a handful of others for whatever that is worth.
Any feedback and suggestions would be much appreciated!

- 55-65 inches
- 1080p (obviously), 4K is NOT a deal breaker
- Picture/Image quality is paramount
- To be used primarily for gaming, light movie/TV watching
- Feature set is not terribly important
- Looking to spend no more than ~$1,000 or so (obviously less is better!)
