Best 845PE Mobo?

I'm going to build a new system with either a 2.66 or 2.8ghz P4 and would like to get an Intel 845pe mobo? Which is the best motherboard? I'm looking mainly for speed and stability that isn't over $150. I'm leaning towards the Asus P4PE board. Any help would be great!

now that i've got mine running slick, I vote for the EPoX 4PEA+
this thing has so many adjustments and overclocking options, not to mention features like S-ATA, USB 2.0, HPT 372 RAID, on board 10/100 LAN.

love the board. works perfect.

Well the Intel branded boards would be good then. They had a review right here at Anandtech.

Go with the Intel D845PEBT2 if you're looking for features and won't be doing any overclocking.

another vote for the Intel D845PEBT2 (Blue Mountain) board..
Its the most stable of the bunch. You can actually overclock with this one as well. It has a "Burn In" mode which increases the FSB by 4%.. You can also adjust the RAM settings in it as well.

I have a P4PE and love it. If you're not going to overclock, get the Intel.

Yeah if no overclocking, Intel boards are solid.
I have an SE440BX at home, and it's very reliable, but it WILL NOT adjust CPU frequency.
so make sure you really don't wanna O/C if you buy Intel boards.

I've purchased the intel 845pe mobo and corsair xms pc3200 memory, but my pc won't boot now. I tried moving the memory first and i get 3 beeps and no video from my monitor even though the vid card works fine in my other pc.

Any ideas??

Isn't the asus just as stable as the intel even without overclocking. Plus faster since they tend to run the fsb a mhz or two faster.
