Best ab workout device?

I know everyone says situps are the best but i want to know what you guys think the best ab workout device is?...best results, fastest to see results..etc....

strict diet + cardio = only way to get six-pack abs

Spot reduction is a myth. I'm tired of people wanting an easy way out (not pointing fingers at you Enraged..just in general). Any lazy sucker who buys those mechanical ab machines on tv deserves to be ripped off!

i do like 300 pushups every lifting day (mon,wed,fri) and thats with 20pound weight on my chest...and NO RESULTS at all..

I saw this thing on TV the other day that like wrapped around your waist and massaged your stomach and it was crazy...ah nevermind.

Doing situps won't get you flat abs..sorry. They'll give you a bigger looking gut though since they'll develop the ab muscles underneath that layer of fat and thus push the fat up higher (making the stomach look fatter). To show your abs, you gotta burn that fat. To burn the fat, you gotta diet and/or do cardio. Personally, I'm on my cutting cycle right now and have a pretty strict diet. Took four months of dieting and relatively little cardio (due to time constraints..hitting the weights four days a week is hard enough to schedule in) to get my six-pack going. I wasn't fat to start out with though (but sure as hell didn't have a six-pack - heheh).

In a week I start bulking though so no more pretty abs

No way... you NEED to do abdominal exercises, otherwise any skinny freak would have a 6 pack. I've known people with like 5% fat and all you could see was their rib bones, but people with 10% fat with a nice set of abs.

And BTW, situps are the worst exercise. Hard on your back and neck, and they're really not that effective because they use your hips as well. Crunches are the best. ANd you don't need to do 1000 of them either, doing 60 correctly will have better results than doing 1000. In the other thread i gave a link to a book called '3-min Abs'.

Ah, you want a ab device... well, there are ab devices, but you won't see them advertising on TV. They're $1000 machines that add resistances... but they're exactly like doing cruches, only with added resistance. You can have similar results with doing crunches with a plate on your chest, so really no need to buy a machine.

Legendary Abs This really works -- it's not a device, it's a training program. You'll have to work at it, but you will see results in a short period of time.

good strict diet, cardio and working the abbs out specifically = good abs.

Also lay off cream products, and the beer. Each beer has about 220 calories. If you drink 10 beers thats almost the TOTAL of 2500 calories the average man needs to live a DAY. Just bear that in mind.

Also some people are just born more lucky then others. Its easier for certain people to get the 6 pack look and much harder for others. The % of body fat helps also it helps if that % isn't around your stomach. Just work at it.

Also when you do 300 push ups did you mean sit ups? Do them at your gym at an incline. Do them 20 reps x 3 sets. Then as you get better add weights. A 10kg thats about 22lbs is hard at steeper inclines. Make sure you have STRICT form. Nothing sloppy. 60 STRCT is better then 100 sloppy anyway. Stay strict and YOU can do it. Also don't dirnk that will help A LOT. Results are not quick. Depending on how devoloped and flat your abs are now will help to see what type of abs you will get and in what type of time frame.
