Patrick Warburton for the WIN!
Seriously, he encapsulates the "tall, clean cut, all American, mid western soldier boy" look.
Oohh... forgot about him. Yeah he's got the look. If he can do the acting then he's got my vote.

I thought there already was a Captain America and I thought it was the guy who played the Sheriff in the Wizard of Oz remake
Neal McDonough?

I just came in here to say that Downy Jr. is the perfect real life Tony Stark. Same can be said for Wolverine... wtf was his name?
Yeah, Hugh Jackman is/was the perfect Wolverine.

Hugh Jackman
Wolverine was a complete dickhead. He was an ass and hotheaded. There were only a handful of people that ever really warmed up to him, Jean Grey and Jubilee being the two best examples. (In the comic books Jubilee had the same Little Girl with a daddy complex that they gave Rogue in the film. The Comic book Rogue and the movie Rogue are completely different characters).
Jackman made him into a likeable person. A misanthrop with a heart of gold. That isn't Wolverine. Wolverine is an animal. He is barely controllable. He is an absolute badass. That is why readers loved him.
I am not saying I didn't enjoy his performance. I thought he made him an interesting char. But there was only one point in all three movies that I believed Jackman hit the comic book Wolverine on the head. That was the Commando Invasion of the School in the second one. Logan in complete bloodlust mutilating the people who dare to hurt those that he would never admit were close to him.
That was wolverine. He is a wolf who was adopted by a family as a pet. Loyal and protective to the family but not tame. At any time he could snap and kill anyone.
he moderately portrayed that roll in my opinion. Jackman is an amazing actor. But the character interactions in the movie made it seem like yeah, he wasn't really a well liked person. But as far as uncontrollable, yeah they restricted that a little bit.
But I think the Wolverine movie will show more of the animal side, before he was partly tamed. Here's to hoping, at least.
As for Captain America. I have absolutely no clue who should play it. Hopefully Marvel is right with whoever they pick. I'm also interested in seeing who will play Ant Man and Thor, two other movies that will come out prior to The Avengers movie. They were brilliant in choosing Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. He is a gifted actor.

"amazing"? really? let's not get carried away...
but, then again, you think linkin park is a good band...
aww you remembered
musical taste aside (i think they're good, not 'great'. wouldn't put them at the top of my list, by far... i enjoy listening)...
you don't think Hugh Jackman is a good actor? He's versatile. Hell, he was picked up for The Fountain when Darren Aronofsky saw him on Broadway, prior to the Xmen movies. He was excellent in that movie. He was also great in The Prestige. To judge actors, you gotta look at them at their best. Even the best actors have been in shitty movies... it's all about scripts and the effort of a talented director.
I won't say he is the best. But, the movies I have seem him in, he plays his roles excellently, and is a talented actor.
