BEST affordable Bluetooth speakers: G-Project G-Boom $99 at Target

If you need a portable Bluetooth speaker system, this is what you want. It's the best set I've ever heard for under $300, and Target has it for $99 ($80 off- cheapest price I've ever seen).

Why does the description say 100 buck blu tooth g box then. I wasnt gunna say any th ing but id say not hot deal. Not even specs on what speakers it had in it just the dimensions of the case it self hahaha. I passed easily.

*sigh* it was on sale at one point, and they based it off of that. Do a search and let me know what prices you find.

I think this is a case of Amazon throwing the prices off. They had a seller who was charging $171.99 for these and selling a lot and many people followed suit. The actual MSRP for it though is $99.99

However, I have heard it in a side by side with the Bose SoundLink III and honestly I preferred the G-Boom. The sound was more natural and had a better depth to it.

I picked one up last night, and the price was $79.99. At that price, I had to try it. I didn't have time to mess with it, but I did notice that it only has a 90 day warranty, so keeping it is a bit of a gamble. Thanks Fritzo!

Amazon reviews on that are pretty bad (something about a bad battery?), but for $30 for the white one it might be worth it.

That g-boom sounds nice, but it uses the aging bluetooth 2.1 standard, and comes with an AC adapter to charge it rather than bluetooth. That's not really a horrible thing, but I prefer stuff that I can charge with a micro usb connector since everyone has some of those laying around.

Not a dealbreaker by any stretch though.

Any other comparable speakers in the same price range?
