Best alternative to Foxit Reader?

Actually I need that quick convert any text to pdf thing. Already have Sumatra PDF for viewing PDF.

Any suggestion?

If it was a word document, in Office 2010, there is a save to PDF feature. There are also plugins for Firefox if its a web page.

I guess the question is, what format is the text in right now?

I think most modern office programs will. I use LibreOffice, but Abiword probably will also.

Familiar with Foxit Reader browser print to pdf plugin? Which can convert the selected text to pdf. Is there anything like that for any selecting any text of any document and then simply print to PDF?

You can use a virtual printer that prints to pdf instead of a printer.

I'm going to second the recommendation for CutePDF. It uses Ghostscript as it's engine and has been quite reliable for me.

I'd also recommend trying out Bullzip PDF Printer. It has a cleaner interface and seems more stable than the other PDF printers.

Granted, I've been using it happily for around 5 years now, so there may be better stuff out there.

Another vote for cutepdf writer, it's free, lightweight and works great whenever I want to convert text to .pdf
