On the contrary, I prefer Italian food, isn't Midwest known for pig feet and such?
But when I was in Grand Rapids, the best they could offer was Outback steak house.
Dayton Ohio have the worst Bavarian sausage. Geez, a big difference compare to Columbus, Ohio.

LOL, a friend of mine is just waiting to retire from one of the local police depts, and he is moving to Houston. I think he's totally out of his mind. Besides the heat and humidity, the air is really bad too.

I would take here (Toledo, Oh) area over almost any in the country, winters are very mild, for the most part, and summers aren't horrible. One huge plus, is that you can get anywhere in the area in a half hour!

Best cities:

Chicago. Great meals and always stuff to do.
NYC, I was there a long time ago, haven't been able to go back!
Las Vegas, lived there 7 years, lots of fun 24/7.

Worst:

Gary Indiana, Kinda like Berlin after WWII!
East St Louis, Ill, makes Gary look good!
Greenville, SC, way too many kooks driving, and way too many fundies running loose.

NYC is great.

$2285/mo is a bit much tho for a 1bdrm 800sq ft apartment in midtown.
But the city truely never sleeps. Jamboree market is open 24hrs and have all types of exotic and generic drinks which is awesome when out and about at 3am.

Boston is nice for like taking the girl out to the nice spots, but the city like shutdowns at 1am

Worst:

Hartford.

I don't really like cities. I know Burlington is technically a city but it always struck me as more of a "town pretending to be a city" which is why its ok. That said, I don't even really like Burlington.
