Best and Worst Superbowl Commercials

The aaron/bonds was good, as were the pickup lines at the bar, the battling robots and the satin sheets.

I liked Gulianni's message, until I saw a sponsor at the end (monster.com)-seemed a little tacky.

the BEST "commercial" by FAR was the bud horses kneeling at the new york skyline.

The mlife ones were brillient. It built up suspense. I was asking, what is this. I thought at first they might have given away what mlife was too early in the game. But then with the second half being so exciting I think they made the right choice revealing it was ATT early.
The only thing I didn't like that much about it was the commercial itself where they finally revealed what it was. That one didn't quite work for me.

The instances of thisare too numerous to state all of them here so I'll just state the most obvious example. In 1986 there was a car bombing in Beirut which killed 80 people and wounded about 200, set off by the C.I.A., British Intelligence, and Saudi Intelligence, in an effort to kill a Muslim cleric who they missed. It was a car bombing right outside a mosque, timed to go off right when everybody would be coming out, so you get maximum killing of civilians.

<< Some of the commercials are OK, but by far the worst one is the one linking drug use with supporting terrorism. I find it insulting and offensive. Here is the US, which does next to nothing to help people addicted to drugs except for to lock them up in prison paying millions to make an ad that blames terrorism on the drug users. The US gives billions of dollars to fund Columbian para-military groups to terrorize Columbian farmers who can't make a profit on normal crops because we subsidize our farmers so they can sell it for less. The US is by far the leading terrorist group in the world amd also funds most of the other terror causing nations, evidenced by United Nations and World Court reports on US or US sponsored countries actions in Turkey, East Timor, palestine, Southeast Asia, hald the countries in South and Central America, and other places. If anything the ad should say that if you are US taxpayer, then you are putting money in terrorists pockets.

i think the big time ad execs looked at the general interest of the upcoming superbowl (pretty low since everyone was expecting a blowout, HAH!) and decided not to pull out all the stops and spending the millions of dollars fee to put their commercials on the super bowl. Maybe they're holding out for the Olympics next week instead.

I dug the Britney Spears' ad the best. She's got great talents. Many people at the party had seen the Britney Spears' breast size flash, so we all watched closely.

The best one was the woman searching for a valetine's card and she takes forever. Then they go to the boyfriend, who picks a card up at the counter of a gas station. I laughed my ass off on that one.

I agree that while the drugs = terrorism commercial was over the top, I do think it's truthful

The ones I hate the most are the truth.com commercials. I hate cigarettes, but these have to be the dumbest commercials ever!

I think it's a tie between the Aaron/Bonds commercial and the mini-fridge BattleBots spoof!

Also, I thought the Budweiser commercial with the horses bowing before the skyline was excellent. Not funny like the others, but very well done in my opinion.
