Best Bars/Clubs in Las Vegas?

Ill be heading to Las Vegas in the near future and was wondering which places I should check out. So far I plan on checking out the Ghost Bar and maybe Rain at the Palms, any other places I should visit?

I'll have to second the suggestion to checkout Olympic Gardens, especially if you are going with or without a co-ed group. Do a few searches, and you can find thier website.

I thought clubbing here in SD was expensive until I went to Vegas....I refuse to go partying there without drinking first....the drinks are WAAAAAAAY too expensive....so if you really want to hit the clubs, and you plan on drinking, make sure you do so before going in.

Club Rain is awesome and I had a great time at C2K in the Venetian and Club RA at the Luxor.

Oh I definitely plan on drinking before I go out. Being a college student thats what Im used to. I hear that some clubs are quite hard to get into unless you go early. Anyone been to Light at the Bellagio?

Yeah definitely drink before you go out and bring a small bottle with you that will fit in a jacket pocket so you can take a swig from that every so often to maintain that buzz.

college students at hard rock, it's off the strip. About $10-$15 taxi ride from the strip.

My favorite is Baby's in HR - Hip Hop - but way to small
Rain was too techno/industrial/whatever they call drum & bass these days...for my taste

yep, i agree. i went to a club, and they charged $5 for a bottle of beer! luckily, the playoffs were occuring between yanks and sox, and i was wearing a yankees hat. so the female bartender thought i was cute and she liked the yankees, so she bought me and my friends drinks. my brain screamed at me to order one of the most expensive drinks i could think of at the time, and i ordered 5 shots of patron.

If the tequila sucks, then one should down it like a shot. Surely the only purpose is becoming inebriated. However, with good tequila, sipping is required. And, Patron is good tequila.

the best tequilia was patron, sipping tequilia ain't my thing. Tequilia body shots off the nearest co-ed is! :shot;

yeah they do but I would stay at the palms because it's closer to the strip... you still need to take a taxi over to the strip but it's a short distance than from hard rock. I would stay at the Rio. All thei rooms are suites meaning they're really big and fairly cheap for their size. The palms is literally across the street from the Rio.

Rio's nice..i stayed there 2 summers ago...but it's not on the strip. Some people HAVE to stay on the strip tho..so Rio might not be for them. I liked the theme at Rio...it had a nice atmosphere and you get mardi gras beads without having to show your boobs..lol.

I'm going in July (almost completely positive now)...and this thread is a good list to keep in mind when I get there. Hopefully I'll remember to search for it and print it out. Heehee...I can't wait!!! This year's gonna be the best birthday ever!
