Building a home server and I need the most stable and durable board that I can find.
Ideally, it would have at least 8 usable SATA ports (will not be doing motherboard raid). I do NOT care at all about overclocking. It just needs to drive a E2180 and 8 750gb HDDs without giving me any grief at all. If there is a chipset that is more energy efficient, that would be great as well.
But the bottom line is stable and reliable 24/7/365 operation.
