Hey Guys,
I've been struggling with my diet for a long time now. I generally don't like/want/need to eat breakfast and I tend to skip lunch a lot as well. I'd like to find a simple sustainable meal program for week days. People have told me about anabolic and some other state for metabolism, saying that by not eating I'm forcing my metabolism into a fat saving state. I'd like to change that. My problem is that I never know what to eat.
Generally I'll have decaf espresso in the morning, some trailmix, maybe a granola bar or something until about 1:00. half the time i'll go out and get something for lunch probably about 500-1000 calories of something. I try to max vegies and minimize carbs...I'm okay that this, but not great. At work I take clients out to lunch a lot and that kills me.
If I skip lunch I'll usually just have tea during the day and get home an do dinner.
I'd like some simple suggestions for breakfast do's and dont's. Like eat a banana in the AM or an egg or nuts or something that I can get on the run, which I usually am in the am.
Any suggestions on books would be appreciated too. I'd love to figure this out.
Exercise is another issue for me, but that's a topic for another thread.
thanks!
