How are these retards backordered, when Fry's has an ass load of them? What's going on with BB?

this coupon is a jpeg of the one sent to "preferred" customers via snail mail. the coupon states that copies aren't allowed, so technically printing out a copy leaves you with an invalid coupon. if the best buy employees don't look closely it'll scan and go through fine.

Any chance on using this on a 9800 Pro bought last weekend?
Sure. Return the vid card and repurchase with the coupon.
But if it's a scan of a physical coupon, and that coupon says "no copies", then they do have the legitimate right to refuse a printed-out version in all cases. Tehnically that's fraud. (Who is to say that someone that got sent a single 10%-off coupon, won't scan and make 100 copies for themselves to use?)
As much as I dislike BB, I think that they are within their right to refuse to accept a printed-out copy of this. I think that the original thread post was more of a heads-up, to check your actual snail-mail, for those that are on the mailing list for these coupons.

It would probably be better to buy the new card with the coupon first, then return it with the old receipt.
I doubt you'd want to get hit with a 15% restocking fee on a $200 video card.

I was shocked -- Best Buy credited me for 10% of the 9800 Pro I had purchased the weekend before. Sometimes, you just get lucky. . . .
