If you're posting about OEM (where this started about retail), then you're posting about a totally different product. It could be percieved as thread crapping since you're comparing a different product (OEM) to this product (retail) and saying that the OEM is better than the retail because you save a few bucks. The additional several-year warranty, in some people's opinions, is well worth the few bucks extra that you pay for it. Therefore, I'd advise anybody who posts about OEMs in a Retail thread to distinguish very clearly, and even draw attention to, the fact that you're comparing OEM to Retail. If you do that, then anybody who yells at you for crapping is then just making noise. Personally, I like to see the comparison to OEM and Retail prices so I can more-easily distinguish for myself which one I'd prefer (typically, for the usual $10 difference, I'd rather have the retails).
