Have you ever eaten one of these things? I'm telling you that they are not all white meat, you will not convince me otherwise. When I worked for them even managment laughed at the claim that they were all white meat. Define white meat anyway, hell the whole damn chicken could be considered off-white really. As far as some mcdonalds employee plunking down $1000 worth of best buy bucks, well that's their stupidity I'm just telling you that game pieces tended to dissapear when I worked there years ago.

Obviously you haven't been to McDonalds in a while.
Most McDs have already been serving 100% white meat nuggets.
By the end of October, all McDs will only serve white meat nuggets.

Darn it! Large'd a meal today. The Fry's Large was the common/basic frys' container! ARG! I hope this doesn't mean they are running out already? Hopefully, this one McDonald's is expecting a shipment. I was ripped! :frown:

BTW, has anyone won any BestBuy bucks over $1? Even a $5 would make my day!

No more than $1 BB here, I have 'several' of them. This monopoly game is killing my heart.
I've won 2 free extra value meals and 1 large fry. I know I'll never win anything good, but I keep going back. I have done this every monopoly month since I got my drivers liscense 12 years ago, darn that Monopoly!

It may be a Southern thing, but Bojangles fries with the cajun salt are the best hands down. The other fries are too bland. And sweet tea at the Bo is awesome too!

If you know your monopoly pieces, you can remember which ones are rare:

all the winners come alphabetically last, execpt for boardwalk.

Also, after two days my McDonalds has run out of Best Buy Bucks

can you say Employee theft? haha

You can use as many as you want at once, though after 25 they ask you to write down your name. Oh, and don't bother with sticking them on the paper, they take them either way.

I am collecting these from everyone in my office. You walk out the back door of my office, and you are in the McDonalds parking lot. They are right next door, so everyne eats there.

I have a huge amount of those BB dollars. I hope there isn't a limit. I have at minimum $150 worth.

Umm, you're in Atlanta and no one knows what you're talking about. Checkers is reigional to "us" just like Chik-fil-a. Carl's Jr, Jack in the Box, In-n-Out Burger, etc are reigional to "them." I first heard of In-n-Out burger when I visited San Diego too. Not coming back just for that though! Since then, I MAY have heard an obscure fictional character refer to it on TV, just as I have heard "Piggly Wiggly" (A REAL store! Also reigional. Bruno's owns it). As for Checkers, I only know them from a commercial and the fact that I saw them one while driving in Atlanta. I live in Newnan. I know there is one in Douglassville, and one in Fayetteville but I only drive there for work and school and have never seen them. They are totally uncommon even within their own reigion.

Targeted media can sometimes seem so pervasive that you think everyone couldn't help knowing who they are. In the South East, or whole East, almost the only people who know of Jack in the Box are those who remember the news programs that wouldn't stop talking about the Jack in the Box e-coli scare (What was that, over a decade ago?!). Let this be a lesson on how well advertising works.

Have you even tried their Mandarin Chicken Salad? I'D NEVER go back. Try it without dressing and two packs of crispy rice noodles. Sometimes you have to drain it first when eating with rice noodles. I also usually eat all the mandarin oranges first because I don't like "fruity meat" (Nor Pineapple Pizza).

Checkers/Rally's is in more than just in the ATL. We have em here in DC/NoVA. Ditto Chick-Fil-A. Carl's Jr is the same as Hardees which we have in VA (and in the SE). JitB is predominantly in the left coast, but they are creepin in to this coast. Have in Carolina and I think GA was targeted for expansion. Krystal is SE heavy, but White Kastle is in the NE and pretty much the same place... don't know if they are related.

Cause ya gotta eat! Lol, yeah those commercials seem pervasive... I think there is a Checkers on 10th St in the ATL... that or 14th St... or at least there used to be one when I went to Tech.

You know I think I actually ate at the JitB where that ecoli scare happened, not at the time of course, like last year. One in Seattle near Udub IIRC.

That's funny you should mention that, a friend of mine did this years ago when they only offered food, I guess other prizes too, but mostly just free food. For an entire year we ate at McDs for free, he had a box of hashbrown holders, alot in a box since they break down. The hashbrown holders had monopoly pieces on them... Alot of free food, and I think atleast a few video games and such, but nothing all that cool.

Overall the Monopoly game at McD's is pretty cool, alot of people win atleast something, keeps them coming back...I'll agree the food isn't what it was before, I like Arby's fries better, shakes are descent though.

Out...
