Chicken strips?

You mean their "chicken" mc nuggets?

BTW fries are the only things that taste decent at McDonalds.

You don't sound like you've eaten at a McDonald's in a while if you don't know what chicken strips are and still think their fries are good. :Q

HOT FOR VERMONT RESIDENTS WITH FREE TIME!!!!
It's not really worth the effort of this (well, if you're in Vermont it is), but:
Reading the rules, every Best Buy chance piece is a winner. Your odds of winning a $1 Best Buy Bucks piece is (about) 1 in 1. So someone could send in self addressed stamped envelopes (Vermont residents may omit return postage) and get $1 in Best Buy bucks for each one you send in. I figure by the time you include the stamps and envelopes cost, they will cost you 80 cents each. HOWEVER, Vermont residents may omit return postage. Basically, you can get $1 Best Buy bucks for 40 cents or so. Could be a hot deal if you're looking to buy an item, buy it for 40 cents on the dollar.
If you do elect to do this, make sure you can combine best buy bucks on a single purchase.

1984 olympics

Ha! I was a little too young to remember that one.

it was because the soviet block boycotted in retaliation of the US boycott of the 1980 moscow olympics. as a result, the US cleaned up in the LA games and took home a record number of medals. the mcdonalds promotion was based on the US's performance, so they took a bath on the whole thing. hehehe, that was pretty funny that summer.

Those were great times.... remember the McDLT? The hot side stays hot, the cool side cool... The Simpsons made fun of it in an episode... the Krusty burger promotion fiasco for Krusty.

"But Mcdonald's fries took a huge downturn in taste... When i buy a combo these days the fries just don't taste good anymore. Or they cool off faster than the other fries and taste worse when they are cool. I might just buy it to get these monopoly pieces as they are great. " you know my family was saying the same thing that they taste different i just thought they were picky guess not

*salivates* Man, I really do miss those McDLTs. They had those when I was working there as a teenager.

I made the mistake of going to McDonald's today LOL The game doesn't start until Tuesday

no, that would be in and out burger.

and i forget, do large fries come with combo meals or medium?

In & Out is still the best fast food burger chain around.

In and Out did something that no other chain has been willing to do. Go back to the basics...

You can get a burger, fries, soda, and/or milkshake. There is no option to get chicken, or fish or some fancy sandwich. Just a simple hot great tasting burger and fries.

I wish there were some in the midwest. As it stands I only get them when I'm in San Diego. In & Out tastes very good.

Yeah, but here in the midwest (Chicago), we can get Butterburgers from Culvers, which is run by a creepy chubby cheesehead from Wisconsin. Man, their burgers are almost as good as Steak & Shake, but I feel like I'm joining some sort of cult when I order food there. :Q

Good point! Wish I was in Vermont... Anybody know for sure if this works (the combining several part)? Even if I did only bank about 20 cents from each one I would be willing to mass mail them. Always wanted to get a bunch of stuff cheap at best buy...

The chicken strips is a regional promotion. I saw them in Florida in August. Here is Wisconsin, we don't have those chicken strips. Brats is the special right now.

I had some McD's fries yesterday and thought their only fault was being too salty. Maybe I'm not too picky about fries . . .

Brats in McDonald's? Let me guess-are they totally devoid of flavor?

BTW, when McDonalds changed its french fry formula they said they did it for health reasons-they cut out a good deal of the fat that was in the old ones by using a different oil formula.

I haven't been able to stomach McD's "food" for a long time, but I did try the new fries once and they were pretty horrible to me.

holy crap guys i am a fast food fry guy and i have never seen so many negative comments.. i dont care how much theyve changed them they are still the best fry / sauce combo, with a notable exception to wendys, but thats like gala apples to jonasgold apples ;P

we all know how laughable jackinthebox and carlsjrs fries are, the sauces are anemic too until lately when they have the franks red hot to dip.

BK? theyre reinvented fry is practically not even a fry anymore.. tastes pretty good though..

mcd's still has the best normal fry around, plus their sweet n sour or honey mustard sauces are great with them..

Looks like this is very hot, you can use more that one coupon per order according to the BB website:

To redeem Best Buy Bucks at BestBuy.com during the online checkout process:
Enter the 17-digit redemption code found on your Best Buy Bucks game piece in the Digital Dollars & Coupons area of the Enter Payment Information page and select Save. If using multiple Best Buy Bucks on the same order, repeat this step as often as necessary.

The value of your Best Buy Buck(s) will be deducted from your order total. This adjustment will be displayed on the Submit Order page.

To redeem Best Buy Bucks during checkout at a Best Buy retail location: Present to the Best Buy cashier at the beginning of the transaction.

Since we are talking about fries, no one has mentioned checkers fries. They are the best! Plus, they guaranty them. If they aren't hot and fresh, you get your money back or something like that...
