Best buy deal or newegg deal?

At Best Buy you can buy 512 mb of PNY pc2100 memory for 40.00 AFTER Mail in rebates. Should i go for this or should i get 512 mb of Crucial Pc2700 memory for 71.00. I was gladly going to take the best buy offer, but i've read up on how much better crucial memory is. And another factor is i dont want to wait 3 to 4 days for a delivery if something better is availiable at a store.

Depends what the system is being used for currently and if you plan to have a little head room when you overclock..

Anyhow, i would get the PC2700 because 2100 is starting to become outdated.. Never know if your going to run a Barton...

I picked up a stick of kingston 512MB pc2700 at best buy a couple of weeks ago for $40 after rebate.

I think there are some pc 2700 (256/512 MB) memory on sale also this week (don't know it is RK-byte or PNY). Different brands will be on sale each week. You can also ask the salespersons on duty, sometimes they know what is gonna be on sale next week or if you are not in a hurry, just wait for another week.
