Best Buy In-store pickup

Both times I've ordered at Bestbuy.com for in-store pickup, they have not had my order ready within 1 minute, and I've gotten $10 off. I haven't even had to ask, they tell me they are crediting the $10.

$10 for 5 minutes extra waiting isn't bad.

Have I gotten lucky, or have other people had the same experience? I can't imagine that they could keep doing this forever.

Except that you don't get your "come and get it" email until they have it behind the customer service desk.

I've done a few in-store pickups with them but they've always had it ready when I got there.
No $10 for me.

Last time I had to wait 20 minutes in line before getting to the counter - their 'guarantee' didn't help me.

The time starts from when the employee pulls your order up on the screen and verifies stock. Not when you print out your email, not when you stand in line, and not even when you start talking to the idiots behind the desk. It starts when they want it to.
