Ive worked at BB service center before even though it was only for a couple of days. It is so horrible, I was considering suicide after that experience. The time moves so slowly at the service center, each day feels like an eternity.
What was your position? And if you dont mind me asking.. How much where you payed?

now that geek squad or whatever is around things might have changed...
when I worked for best buy a couple years ago, I worked at the tech bench. We supposedly were on the same payscale as people in the service center.
I got paid (iirc) $12 an hour or so.. maybe 11.75.. somewhere right around there.

I spent 6.5 years with bby and much of that time as a pc tech or Senior PC tech I would get as far away from that company as possible.

actually i havent read this whole thread but if you are a beginner in this market, best buy might not be such of a bad job.. i do want to be non-bias and open about everything so i did forget to add after you add best buy to your resume, people do start paying more attention when you decide to move on up... so this oculd be a starter towards your future/better job in this field

yeah.. i know it sounds dumb. But all of these jobs want you to have experience. At least 2 years. The problem is i cant get experience because all the jobs want you to already have it. I have plenty of other job experience. Just not related to IT feild.
