There was a DVD version of the game.

I've had very bad luck with BestBuy MIRs. Usually no contact whatsoever from them.

Yes but the publishers seem that the market penetration is not up there yet. It is really dumb. And it was on 5 actually. There are 6 slots but it was only 5 CDs. Still a pain.

I have recieved my refund within the timeframe that is stated, usually closer to the later date, but I still get it. I have done MIR with BB several times on several different items....

Definately give FarCry a try, and don't forget to give the multiplayer a go! It's a little annoying at first, but the environments and physics make up for it. Think a cross between Counter-Strike and Quake3Arena in terms of feel and add in vehicles with a nice bright environment. I couldn't have survived the winter without it...

On a side note, FarCry's coding isn't the most wonderful - expect even decent systems to suffer a little (this is mostly a server hosting issue with the server side of the program having massive memory leaks, but FC is one of the few programs around that will absolutely thrash a player's system as well).

You might also take a look at 64-bit FarCry - it's pretty buggy as well but I'm told the field of view and general graphics are even better.
