Best Buy Open Box Deals

Was at Super Wall Mart last night and was going to pick up an HP Officejet V40 for $197.00, decided to wait to check BB today. They had a HP Officejet V40 open box complete for 129.60. Just hooked it up and ran some test and everything seems fine. It was in excellent condition, cartridges had never been installed.

I will definatley lurk their isles for more open box items in the future.

They had the manual and remote.

Best Buy here in Melbourne was approx. ~10 off open box... not any great deals here.

Went to my local Best Buy today and saw a Panasonic TAU (model ct-32sx31) 32" tv, open box for $720. Man, was I tempted, I am looking for a nice 32" but don't have the money for the new flat screens. Oh well, guess, i'll just have to keep looking for a good deal on the regular type TV's. Oh, for comparison purposes, after BB, i went to Circuitous City and they had the same TV for $899 NIB (new in box).

Got a Sony DVD player (silver color) for $50, retail $199. Only thing missing was the cable, which I have plenty of at home.

Got a couple of msft gamepad pros for $5 each after MIR. They work great. Also got a HP ScanJet 3400C for -$5.00 after $50 MIR (only the box was open). Depends on your local store but there has been a lot of open boxes lately at most locations.

Do you guys ever negotiate with the employees to get them to lower the price further? Almost always at the BB I go to, they only mark open box items down 10%.
