I'm staying open minded. Except for the 100.00. Have all the bad 430psu's been purged from the 150 stock yet?

A similar thread is started it seems like a hundred times a week. I wish someone would surprise me and try a quick browse before posting another one...

As always I recommend the Beantech Igloo (aka Kingwin 424 series) cases from Directron.com and perhaps others. The fact that they don't cost anywhere near $100. like they used to is a bonus.

Zepper: I like the Igloo. Is there one with 120mm fan instead of 800mm

PCTwo,

Yes, those Beantech/Kingwin cases are easily mistaken for Lian Li both in build quality and design.

No. I don't know of any reasonably standard sized mid-tower case that has both a mobo drawer and also a 120mm exhaust fan - the case and mobo drawer would both have to be widened, so the cost of doing that isn't worth it. I've taken to mounting oversized fans outside of the case on an adapter as it seems to be easier for fans to pull air thru a smaller hole than it is to push the air thru the same hole (remove the stamped grill in any case). I have done that with PSUs too - here's a link: PSU FanMod. You can hardly see those external fans from the front of the case.

It looks like it wouldn't be too hard to open that rear fan mount out to 92mm if you wanted to stick with an internal fan - and that would make it easier on an external 120 as well. The front can be opened out to 120 if you want. Aluminum is pretty easy to cut...

Lian Li pc-7b plus II

Thats a nice one but is it a better value than the Lian Li PC-69 plus 2?

really im not seeing the difference, aside from the meaningless ducting of the pc69, and the 80mm fans. (eww, noise).

The pc-60 plus 2 has a removeable mb tray. to me that is very attractive.
to me, the 7b is a steal.

I'm 32 years old. That kind of case is for braggert's and children.

Huh? What is that supposed to mean?

It means that I have grown up and don't want glam and glitz, like a lazer light show everytime my computer is on, which is all the time.

P180 is awesome. It has such a simple yet elegant look and is very functional. For me, nothing came close at the price.

Yeah, you showed some real class here. You asked for help and I replied. If you didn't like it, fine. There was no need for a braggart (notice the correct spelling? you need a dictionary before a case!) and children comment. For a 32 yr old you sure have a 9 year old mentality.

BTW, this case has no fancy laser lights. It is just a plain functional case that happpens to be the third best selling at tigerdirect with an average rating of five stars.
