Want to get a new case for my 4400+ and X1900XTX........want it to be combination of great cooling/airflow potential as well as quiet. Also, I believe this should be possible for $150 or less. Can't see spending more than that on a case.

Antec P180. If you're willing to spend a little more over the silver version, places like SVC now carry the all black model for about $140. It still ranks as the best case on SPCRs recommended cases list.

You might want to checkout this link for Lian-Li

The construction, durability and cooling factor is why I have 3.
2 are PC-60s, the other PC-7.

Hi:

My old system uses a Lian-Li PC-6089 Aluminum mid-tower case.
Looks nice but is very noisy and has lousy air-flow.
I moved it to the basement where it can make all the racket it wants.

I built 2 new systems using the Antec P180 and they are in my living room.

One is WinXP Pro, and the other (virtually identical) is MS MCE2005.

They are very quiet and the air-cooling is excellent.

Happy trails,

It's never going to be silent with that X1900XTX (unless you've got watercooling?) but a P180 might help deaden the roar from it a bit

The lian li cases are nice designs, and well built, but with the exception of the newest models they don't look like they were designed for low noise specifically. Just that the well laid out interior means that you don't need delta fans to keep it all cool.

Aside from price. What's wrong about the Delta Triple Blade fans in low & medium speed??

That's what I run and they are uber-under volters and all have a real tach/sensor feed wire.
Not a dummy wire like Chinaflos

I speak from hands on experiance concerning these fans. Both the Deltas & Chinaflos.

I got the Compucase LX-6A19 from Jim at Coolcases.com.
Yeah, it may not be as fancy as the Antec & it may cost a little more, depending on how you'd mod it, but I had it built for ME the way I wanted it built.
Mine has a 92mm on the right side of the case to cool the back of the motherboard, a 92mm on the left side as an exhaust for my video card, a 120mm intake in the front & a 120mm exhaust in the rear. All the fans with the exception of the rear are hooked into a rheostat that's mounted in a 5 1/4" bay so I can control them at my leisure.
Check out the site...you might see something you like!
Good luck!

P180 without a doubt. However, I prefer to take the case I like and put fans of my choice in there. Makes for spending 50 bux on fans, but worth it.

Think I'm going to go for the P180b from Newegg on Monday. They seem to have about the best price with shipping and I've used them before so feel comfortable with them. I looked at the Lian Li's but they just don't impress me price wise especially and as far as I can tell, nothing else really measures up to what I want/expect.
