Hard to say since any great receiver could potentially make a good CB look bad at anytime and the games I have seen there have been some good CBs looking reaaaalll bad. Anyway, my vote has to go with Ronde 'cause he can cover and Gruden lets him go on a sack spree.

Ty Law isn't that good this year with the Jets. Doesn't he lead the NFL with the most penalties for a CB?

Champ Bailey. He shut down moss, and he's probably the most gifted athletically out of any CB.

Hmmm, right now i would have to say Champ Bailey.

All time it would be very close between Deion and Darrell Green. I personally like Darrell better, especially for his attitude off the field, however, he ALWAYS had trouble covering Amani Toomer for some reason. Like i said i give the nod to Darrell Green, but in all fairness they are probably the 2 best CB's.

a few different areas here...

for pure coverage, Deion Sanders, love him or hate him, was the best in the last 30 years...Darrell Green would probably be #2 on that list

However, neither of those guys were very good tacklers - I love the comment earlier when someone said they like their CB not to have to make tackles - you also have to play the run as a CB! Champ Bailey plays the run much better than Deion or D.Green ever did, and, when healthy, he isn't far behind them in cover skills. Rod Woodson had similar ability, but I'm not sure he had the drive to be the best or workout the way he should have.....though I would caution you before you get to excited about anyone shutting Moss down, he's been hurt most of the season.
