No lie, they're up there on the list for me too. Let's face it, most gifts we receive are shit we didn't really want to begin with...otherwise we would have bought it on our own because it was only $40.

I find that as I get older, i don't really want "things" anymore. (besides the fact that I don't have storage for stuff, and I'm starting to get tired of stuff hanging out everywhere.)

If I want things, I'm capable of buying it myself.

However, if someone knows that I really enjoy getting coffee at Starbucks, at least they'll know I put the gift to good use. Or if I like reading books on the Kindle, an Amazon gift card would make me so happy.
