Nothing beats the Georgia Bulldogs... at the Kickoff..

The whole stadium (in athens) yells "GO DOGS- SICK EM- woof woof woof (or whatever)".

Now, obviously I can't speak for every team, but that my friends... is badass.

I had never heard Rocky Top until I moved to SEC land (Atlanta). In the south it is very recognized, but outside of that region most people don't know it.

If you follow CFB then you have heard of RT. Minnesota played in when they beat Bama in a bowl just to piss them off and I've heard FSU played it when they beat Florida. It just has that effect.

I've been watching college football for a long time. I heard it, but before I moved to Atlanta I couldn't have identified it by the music alone.

Rocky Top is not that widely recognized in the midwest and, I would assume, on the west coast. It certainly isn't more recognizable than Michigan or Notre Dame's fight song. Maybe in SEC country, but not so much in the rest of the USA (or world).

LOL. Just like Cal plays "Fight for California" after touchdowns and "Big C" after first downs, where Sons of Westwood = Big C except it sounds a lot worse because it's a biteoff.

Oh, and just a FYI, "Rocky Top" is not the official fight song of Tennessee...but very few people know the real one, so I guess it suffices as the fight song.
